SuperShots AI combines two powerful technologies to bring order to the chaos:
1. On-Device OCR
The app uses Apple's Vision Framework to read all the text inside your screenshots — right on your device. This means your text data never leaves your phone during this step. It extracts names, dates, prices, flight numbers, and any other text visible in the image.
2. Cloud AI Analysis
After extracting the text, the image is compressed and sent to our backend where advanced AI models analyze it. The AI does several things at once:
- Describes what the screenshot contains in natural language
- Categorizes it automatically (Travel, Food, Shopping, Work, etc.)
- Tags it with relevant keywords for easy search
- Enriches it with real-time data (flight status, stock prices, restaurant ratings)
The image is deleted from our servers immediately after processing — typically within 3-10 seconds.
3. Smart Organization
Once analyzed, each screenshot lands in the right category automatically. You can also create custom categories with your own rules. For example: "Put all screenshots with code in my Development category."
